In recent years, Zhengzhou, as an important node city of "One Belt And One Road", firmly grasped the historical opportunity of "One Belt And One Road", and the "four silk roads" of air, land, Internet and sea developed vigorously, promoting the rapid rise of Zhengzhou as a new highland of opening up in inland areas, and led by openness, high-quality construction of national central city. In 2018, the import and export of the whole city reached 61.51 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 3.1%. Among them, the export was 38.6 billion us dollars, with an increase of 11.7%, and the import was 22.91 billion US dollars, with a decrease of 8.6%. The import and export volume accounted for 74.5 percent and 72 percent of the province's total import and export volume, continuing to rank first among the six provincial capitals in central China. The enterprise that has foreign trade import and export performance all year amounts to 2916, a year-on-year increase of 307, Among them, there are 755 enterprises with import and export value of over one million US dollars, 158 enterprises with over ten million US dollars and 20 enterprises with over one hundred million US dollars. There are 207 countries and regions that have trade contacts with Zhuhai, and the traditional markets such as Europe and America are the main export destinations of Zhuhai, with 31 countries and regions that exceed us $100 million in exports.

In 2018, the comprehensive strength of the city's foreign trade continued to rise.
